Parolee Dives Through Glass Window To Avoid Lake Elsinore Police

Issac Charles Solis has been booked into Southwest Detention Center on multiple violations, according to the Lake Elsinore Police Department, including a felony warrant, burglary, drug possession and resisting arrest.

A wanted parolee who led Lake Elsinore police on a foot chase that involved diving through a plate glass window is now behind bars.

According to a police report, deputies saw Solis walking outside the North Lake Apartment Homes at 15195 Lincoln Street in Lake Elsinore around 8:15 a.m. today.

“Solis was known by law enforcement to be a parolee at large with an outstanding felony warrant,” the report stated.

When deputies attempted to arrest Solis, he fled on foot through the complex, according to the report.

“In an effort to further evade officers, Solis then dove through a plate glass window and into an apartment. The occupants pursued Solis as he made his way through the residence. Solis then exited the location by diving through a closed rear bedroom window,” the police report stated.

Solis slipped away and over several fences before he was captured trying to force his way into another occupied residence, according to the report.

Solis was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported. He sustained several cuts and bruises as a result of the incident and received medical aid at a nearby hospital before his booking, police reported.
