The Coroner's Office Saturday identified a 16-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a moving sedan at a Jurupa Valley street near an elementary school.
He was Riverside resident Rodolfo Magdaleno, according to the Coroner's Office.
Deputies dispatched at 6:42 p.m. Friday to Pyrite Street near Glen Avon Elementary School, just south of Mission Boulevard, found Magdaleno with life- threatening injuries, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Jerome Porterfield.

Paramedics rushed him to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the sedan was heading north on Pyrite Street when the pedestrian walked in an eastbound direction, across the street, Porterfield said. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
