Perris Woman Killed In Rollover Crash

According to the coroner's report, the woman was driving an SUV and veered off the roadway for unknown reasons, lost control and rolled.

Police are reporting a Labor Day weekend crash has killed a local woman.

The fatal solo-vehicle wreck was reported at 2:07 a.m. Sunday on Cajalco Road, just west of Barton Street, in Perris, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

The woman is being listed as a Jane Doe at press time and her age is not known, however the coroner’s office has identified her as a Perris resident.

According to the coroner’s report, the woman was driving an SUV and veered off the roadway for unknown reasons, lost control and rolled.

She was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the report.

Time of death was listed as 2:19 a.m. Sunday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
