Details:On November 29, 2011, at approximately 6:27 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 16400 block of Joy Street, in the city of Lake Elsinore reference possible child molestation.
During their investigation, officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department arrived and determined 50-year-old, Perry Anthony Pellegrini of Lake Elsinore had attempted to cut his wrists after being accused of child molestation by his wife, and was transported to a mental health facility for treatment. Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Police Department assumed the investigation and served a search warrant to access digital media recovered from the residence. Numerous digital photographs depicting minors in several states of undress were discovered.
Pellegrini was arrested after he was medically released from a local hospital. He was transported to the Lake Elsinore Police Department and later booked at the Southwest Detention Center for 288.5 P.C.-Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Minor, 288 PC-Child Molestation and 311.11(a) PC-Possession of Child Pornography.
It was further discovered Pellegrini is an amateur photographer and has a studio in the city of Huntington Beach and Pellegrini is the owner/operator of Psp Photography based out of the city of Lake Elsinore. The Lake Elsinore Police Department is urging the public if they feel they were victimized by Pellegrini to contact Investigator Deanne or Investigator Pelato at the Lake Elsinore Police Department at (951) 245-3300 or after hours and on weekends at (951) 776-1099.

Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 3:42 A.M., Lake Elsinore Police officers responded to the 31500 block of Canyon Estates Drive, Lake Elsinore, in reference to an armed robbery at a local gas station/mini mart. The clerk was inside the business when two suspects entered through the front door, one suspect said he had a gun and demanded money. The clerk fled the store during the robbery and was not injured. The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of money.

Details:
On 120312 at 2:22 PM, officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department responded to the Auto Zone located at 30000 Riverside Dr. regarding a suspicious person who was seen running out of Auto Zone and through the front yards of residences on Wisconsin. While officers were responding to the location the subject was attempting to break into an employee's vehicle in the parking lot of the Auto Zone. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect on Wisconsin. The suspect, Ronald Gehnert of Romoland, Ca., was taken into custody without incident.
Further investigation revealed that Gehnert was a parolee-at-large and had a warrant for his arrest. Additional evidence revealed that Gehnert had taken merchandise from the Auto Zone. Gehnert was transported to the Lake Elsinore Police Station for further investigation and later transported to the Southwest Detention Center where he was booked for attempted auto theft, burglary and for being a parolee-at-large.
