09/14/11 Possession of Methamphetamine:  Officers contacted David Leibinger (age 23 of Lake Elsinore) and Carlos Garcia (age 23 of Lake Elsinore) on the 100 block of Poe and arrested them for drug possession.   L112570009/L112570011

Possession of a Controlled Substance:   Officers responded to a suspicious person call near Collier x Central and arrested Samuel Velasquez (age 29 of Lake Elsinore) on numerous charges including violation of parole and drug possession.   L112570013    

09/15/11 Felony Warrant:  Officers contacted Larry Mesa (age 46 of Lake Elsinore) near Collier x Chaney and arrested him for an outstanding criminal threats warrant.   L112580031 

  Press Release: On Aug. 31, at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department received information regarding a sexual assault that occurred in the 16700 block of Lakeshore Drive, in the city of Lake Elsinore. The victim reported a heavy-set male Hispanic, mid-40's hired her to perform janitorial cleaning services of several vacant businesses in the adjacent shopping center. When the victim arrived for work on Aug. 31, she performed the necessary work and was then approached by the suspect who offered a modeling job. The victim, while changing clothing was sexually assaulted by the suspect and immediately left the business to report the incident to law enforcement.

Further investigation identified 51-year-old Luis Medina Valencia of Lake Elsinore as the suspect in the sexual assault. On Sept. 15, Valencia was arrested in the 31000 block of Canyon Ridge Drive, in the city of Lake Elsinore. Valencia was later booked at the Southwest Detention Center for sexual assault.

Based on information gathered during the investigation, the Lake Elsinore Police Department feels there may be additional victims of unreported crimes involving Valencia. 09/16/11 Assault with a Deadly Weapon:  Officers responded to a domestic violence call on the 45000 block of Promise and arrested Christine Selva (age 34 of Lake Elsinore) for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.   L112590092

09/17/11 Domestic Violence:  Officers responded to a battery call on the 29000 block of Forest View and arrested Veronica Peck (age 23 of Lake Elsinore) for domestic violence.   L112600074 

09/18/11 Felony Battery:  Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on the 31000 block of Auto Center Drive and arrested Keith Comrie (age 30 of Murrieta) for felony battery.   L112610004 

09/19/11 Possession of Methamphetamine:  Officers responded to an unknown trouble on the 32000 block of Riverside Dr. and arrested Michael Sourisseau (age 44 of Lake Elsinore) and Yvonne Slone (age 29 of Lake Elsinore) on numerous drug charges.   L112620035

09/19/11 Possession of Paraphernalia:  Officers responded to a trespassing call on the 33000 block of Almond and arrested Enrique Sanchez (age 52 of Wildomar) on numerous drug charges.   WI112620023
