Details:On Monday May 23, 2011 at 10:09 A.M. officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department were dispatched to the Target store on Collier Ave. in the city of Lake Elsinore in reference to a burglar- in-progress call. Upon arrival, officers secured the location and detained two subjects as they walked from the store.
The ensuing investigation revealed that the subjects detained had taken several electronic items from the store shelves, placed them into a cart and tried to exit an emergency door. While this was occurring, officers began arriving which caused the subjects to abandon their cart and exit the store.
It was also learned there were two additional subjects involved that fled in a 2004-2006 champagne-colored Chevrolet Suburban. These subjects were described as Hispanic or light skinned black males.
Arrested in this incident were;
Llewelldoyn Brewster (33 years old) and Lation Brown (19 years old). Both reside in the city of Perris. This investigation is continuing.

Details:On Friday, May 20, 2011 at 4:14 p.m. Lake Elsinore Police officers responded to the 39400 block of Ardenwood Way, Lake Elsinore, in reference to a home invasion robbery. The investigation revealed the female victim was inside her apartment with a friend when two unidentified suspects came into the apartment, produced a small handgun and demanded cash. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. Nobody was injured as a result of the robbery.
- Suspect #1, who was armed, is described as a Hispanic male adult in his twenties, about 5'10" with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and unknown colored pants.
- Suspect #2 is described as a white male adult in his twenties, about 6'00" tall and about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, a white baseball cap and sunglasses.

Details:
On May 16, 2011, the Lake Elsinore Police Department was contacted by agents from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and special agents from the Office of Inspector General. NASA agents were conducting an investigation regarding the illegal sale of a moon rock.
The NASA investigation was conducted over several months and resulted in an undercover meeting set up at a restaurant in Lake Elsinore, on Grape Street. On the morning of May 19, an undercover NASA agent met with the seller of the moon rock and agreed to buy the artifact for approximately 1.7 million dollars. After conversation, the moon rock was produced inside the restaurant. Several Lake Elsinore Police investigators and NASA agents moved in on the suspect, took possession of the moon rock and detained the female.
NASA agents took possession of the moon rock and interviewed the female suspect. At this time the investigation is ongoing.
NASA stated that moon rocks and other space travel artifacts are considered National Treasures and are not to be sold on any market. Citizens can contact Special Agent Conley with any questions regarding these items, (321) 867-7465. It is the goal of the Lake Elsinore Police Department to assist any department in the detection and suppression of any illegal activity in the city of Lake Elsinore.
According to a NASA spokesperson contacted Wednesday, the investigation is continuing.
