Police Chase Goes Down In Canyon Lake; 6 Arrested

The incident took place Tuesday evening shortly before 7 p.m.

An upscale neighborhood in Canyon Lake saw a police chase and bust this week that resulted in the arrests of six people.

Tuesday evening, deputies from the Canyon Lake Police Department attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant on Sean Cadieux, 33, at 30123 Longhorn Drive. As the officers approached the residence, Cadieux and another man fled on foot, according to a news release from the department.

After a brief chase, Cadieux and the man later identified as Brian Restad, 34, were caught and arrested, the report stated.

According to jail records, Restad was booked for, among other things, conspiracy and receiving stolen property. Cadieux was booked for a felony parole violation and being under the influence of a controlled substance, the records indicated.

Deputies spoke with people at the Longhorn Drive home and made four more arrests including Nathan Guay, 34, who was allegedly violating parole, the news report stated.

Jason Brown, 32, Michael Arellanes, 40, and Kristy Reynolds, 26, were also all arrested for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance. All three have been released from custody. The others remain behind bars at press time.
