Police Hunt For Wildomar Man's Killers

Police are seeking the public's help in finding these two men.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies are seeking the public's help as they hunt for two men suspected in the 2009 killing of a Wildomar man.

Today, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station released photos of two men suspected in the killing death of 49-year-old John Joseph Garcia.

The suspects are identified as Trinidad Acosta Martinez (aka Jose Acosta), 52, and Luis Torres, 32. Arrest warrants have been issued for both.

During the course of the police investigation, the two men “were linked to the murder” of Garcia, according to a news release from the station Tuesday.

On Sept. 5, 2009, campers found Garcia’s body in a waterway near Canyon Lake, approximately one mile north of Vacation Drive bridge.

According to police at the time, Garcia died from apparent gunshot wounds.
