High Police Presence In Lake Elsinore Tuesday Afternoon

The high police presence in the location began around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A high level of police activity in Lake Elsinore near Allis, Lash and Brown streets Tuesday afternoon is due to an ongoing traffic investigation, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Deputy Alberto Martinez.

According to police scanner chatter, deputies were pursuing a suspect in the area, but Martinez did not confirm the reports.

Multiple patrol cars, an overhead sheriff’s department helicopter, and deputies with rifles have been spotted in the area.

The high police presence in the location began around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

At press time, no arrests have been made.

Police need to take a look at all of the grafitti in the Rite Aid parking lot on Lakeshore and Machado that has taken place in the last week.

Susie-Q - I know!! I saw a guy painting over the graffiti that was literally on the RIte-Aid, but he never painted the dumpster area or the empty store fronts next to it.
