Police were on the lookout today for a man accused of robbing a Lake Elsinore bank.
The suspect, described by officials as a tall and thin white male, reportedly held up Mission Oaks National Bank on Central Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the bank at 4:50 p.m. No customers were inside.
The man handed a bank teller a note demanding money, collected an undisclosed sum and walked out of the bank without incident, according to a Riverside County sheriff's department announcement.
Officers searched the area for the man but came up empty handed.
Witnesses said he was approximately 45-years old, 6 foot 3 and wearing a puffy black zippered jacket and a black knitted hat.
