Police Searching For Driver Suspected Of Killing Man In Parking Lot Bar

Police are searching for a suspect who is believed to have killed Bryan Kif Vannoy, 29, of Riverside.

Police are asking the public’s help in finding a suspect who allegedly killed a man early Sunday morning by running him over.

Bryan Kif Vannoy, 29, of Riverside, was found down with a head injury at 12:51 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of 26 Degrees Bar located at1535 E. Ontario Ave., #101, in Corona.

Medical aid was rendered but Vannoy was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to a news release from the Corona Police Department.

“Witnesses stated that the victim was struck by a vehicle fleeing the scene of a physical confrontation outside of the business,” the news release continued.

The vehicle is described as a lifted, maroon, late model Ford F-150 pickup truck with oversized tires and a silver horizontal accent stripe along the lower portion. The truck was also described as having an ATV type vehicle in the bed with the tailgate lowered and a bed extender type device attached to the rear. The driver of the truck is described as a black male adult of an unknown age, according to the news release.

Detectives are following up on suspect information. If you have any information regarding the incident, contact Sr. Detective Steve Sears at the Corona Police Department, (951) 279-3572.

Shame on 26 Degrees owners, there were 4 fights that night and the security was worthless. The young man who was killed was a cook at 26 Degress and all Rhonda the owner was worried about was getting sued. Some of the waitress staff know who this murder is and are with holding evidence. Yes he is a murder, he swerved into the crowd after getting into multiple physical altercations inside and out of the bar.

Shame on you for making this about your opinion and not about the victim. You obviously need to think about the loss instead of blaming Rhonda or Franco. Bryan was a peacemaker and security or not wouldn't have changed the fact he was helping to calm and get the situation under control. The staff are/was in shock of the situation. Show instead of passing blame how about you concentrate your blame on the driver.

Joe, that would be murderER....not murder. No one person can be a murder. MM, the staff was not in shock "of" the situation. They were in shock "over" it. (Shame on you two kids for not paying attention in English class. Thats MY opinion.)

To the Teller of The Truth. Why are you capitalizing "my" as in "my opinion" ? You are also using parenthesis incorrectly.

@Atl, Commenters that need to emphasize certain words to the other readers that seem to be dumber than a stump, capitalize the word that makes their intentions known. Everyone does that. His use of parenthesis is not wrong either. @Theotis, how can you shut someone up that is probably at work & hasn't read this yet? Nice work? What are you a Rhoades Scholar? We'll wait while you go look that up.......}~)

I have heard from some good sources that the owners know who the driver is because he was 86d from the establishment and had prior altercations there.. Im positive every employee and the owners know who it is.
