Police Seek Man Who Tried To Kidnap Teen Near Lakeside High School

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 25 to 30 years old, about 5'-7" tall, 160 pounds with a shaved head and numerous tattoos around the front of his neck.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl in Lake Elsinore Wednesday.

The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. at Grand Avenue and Fairview Street.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 25 to 30 years old, about 5'-7" tall, 160 pounds with a shaved head and numerous tattoos around the front of his neck. He also has a pierced upper right lip and his right eyebrow is also pierced. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and unknown-colored pants.

The victim told deputies she was walking home alone from Lakeside High School when she saw a newer blue Honda Accord with dark tinted windows stopped at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Fairview Street. As she approached the intersection, the suspect allegedly rolled down the driver's side window and asked her if she needed a ride. The victim ignored the suspect and walked past the Honda.

A few moments later, the suspect allegedly approached the girl from behind and grabbed her with both hands. The victim hit the suspect in the face with a spiked track shoe and ran home and called the police. The Honda was last seen driving south on Grand Avenue away from the location.
