Police Seek Woman In Connection With Canyon Lake Investigation

Police are seeking 33-year-old Kelsey Douglas of Menifee.

One man has been arrested and police are seeking a woman in connection with an ongoing mail theft/fraud investigation in Canyon Lake, authorities are reporting.

Shawn Ethan Bannister, 39, of Menifee, was arrested Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in the 29900 block of Murrieta Road on suspicion of burglary, theft and conspiracy, according to jail records.

Police are seeking 33-year-old Kelsey Douglas, also of Menifee, in connection with the investigation. (See attached photo.)

Tuesday investigators executed a search warrant in the 28600 block of Quail Place in Menifee and found numerous items of stolen property, documents, credit cards and fraud-related items stemming from the Canyon Lake investigation, Williams said.
