Wildomar Fire Investigation Continues: Public's Help Sought

Anyone with information about the fire is urged to contact the Riverside County Fire Department’s Arson Hotline toll-free at (800) 633-2836.

As fire officials continue their investigation into Thursday’s blaze in Wildomar, they are asking for the community’s help.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in reporting any activity in or around the area of Wesley Street at Grand Avenue in Wildomar where the 14-acre vegetation blaze sparked just before 1 p.m. Thursday.

The blaze damaged one empty home, several outbuildings and a vehicle, Cal Fire's Melody Hendrickson said. to see photos and read the fire updates as they were reported.

I saw it happen to a crow that got shocked on a power pole. Fell to the ground on fire and started hopping around and caught the dry grass on fire. I'm not saying that's what happened in this case, but I have witnessed that.
