Registered Sex Offender Arrested At Lake Elsinore Travel Inn

James Michael Parker, 47, was arrested at the Travel Inn on Auto Center Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday.

A man who, according to the California Registered Sex Offender database, was convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, was arrested in Lake Elsinore Sunday on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender.

James Michael Parker, 47, was arrested at the Travel Inn on Auto Center Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday.

According to jail records, he was booked for failing to register as a sex offender.

The California Registered Sex Offender database does not indicate where Parker’s crime took place or when he was convicted, and Riverside County court records show no information on sex crimes pertaining to James Michael Parker.

The state's sex offender database shows Parker’s last address as Butterchurn Road in Wildomar. Under state law, convicted sex offenders who are required to register per a judge's order are also required to notify officials if they move.
