Riverside Drive Temporarily Closed In Lake Elsinore
The road was closed for two hours Monday afternoon due to a non-injury crash that damaged a power pole in the area.
Riverside Drive/SR 74 in Lake Elsinore was shut down in both directions as crews worked today to repair a damaged power pole.
According to Cpl. Courtney Donowho of the Riverside County Sheriff’ Department, the road was closed for approximately two hours between Robertson Street and Lakeview Avenue as crews worked to make the necessary repairs.
The pole was damaged after a motorist struck it.

The crash was reported at 1:35 p.m.
The motorist was not injured, Cpl. Donowho said.
