One RV was destroyed and three outbuildings were significantly destroyed in Lake Elsinore early Friday morning due to fire, authorities are reporting.
According to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson, the blaze in the 53200 of Ambridge Street was reported at 3:52 a.m.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found the RV, which served as a residence, completely engulfed, Hendrickson reported.
Seventeen firefighters were called to the incident and, as a result of quick action, three nearby RVs and one garage were spared, Hendrickson reported.
Firefighters remained on scene throughout the morning, the spokeswoman added. There were no reports of injuries; the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, she said.
