School Bus And Car Collide In Wildomar

Traffic has been delayed in Wildomar today after a bus and a Hyundai Sonata crashed on Baxter Road at the 15 Freeway.

According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Cpl. Courtney Donowho, the crash was reported at 3:45 p.m.

There were no children aboard the LEUSD school bus.

The Sonata driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Cpl. Donowho said.

The school bus driver was not injured during the crash, which is under investigation.

The northbound side of Baxter Road is closed as Southern California Edison works to repair a power pole that was downed during the collision.
