Sedco Hills Fire Destroys Double-Wide Mobile Home

The home's occupants were safely evacuated and the fire was contained at 6:54 a.m. No injuries were reported.

A double-wide trailer in Sedco Hills near Lake Elsinore was destroyed during an early morning fire that is currently under investigation.

According to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the blaze at 32933 Lakeview Terrace was reported at 6:32 this morning. On arrival, firefighters reported that a double-wide mobile home was fully engulfed.

The home's occupants were safely evacuated and the fire was contained at 6:54 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Twenty-one firefighters and six engines, along with two overhead personnel, were on the scene; firefighters will remain until approximately 10 a.m. this morning.

Southern California Edison was also called in to pull an electrical meter that was on fire at the home, according to Jody Hagemann, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman.
