Semi Truck And Passenger Vehicle Crash In Lake Elsinore

The collision was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

A Thursday morning crash near Temescal Canyon Road and Lake Street in Lake Elsinore left one woman with major injuries, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department is reporting.

Firefighters responded to the collision involving a semi truck and a passenger vehicle shortly after 7:30 a.m. today.

“An adult female was trapped, but quickly extricated and transported to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries. The driver of the semi was unharmed,” according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department report.

No other injuries were reported.

Unfortunately, judging by the notes from the CHP Traffic Incident website, it doesn't sound like the victim in the car is going to survive. Thoughts and prayers to them in this time of need.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. She is a close family member of mine. Thank you for everyone who repsonded to the incident. Her condition is critical at this time and she is expected to recover.

Really glad to hear she's expected to recover - the notes from the CHP Traffic incident site were not too pretty.
