On Dec. 30 officers from the Perris Police Department were conducting a Safety/DUI Checkpoint on Perris Boulevard and Commerce Drive in Perris when Clark allegedly would not stop in a secondary screening area. According to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Clark was directed into that area after a deputy spotted a possible vehicle code violation.
