Three Lakeside HS Boys Caught In The Act

All three Lakeside High suspects were released to the custody of their parents.

Three Lakeside High School boys allegedly burgled a Lake Elsinore residence this afternoon and got caught in the act by the homeowner.

The three young suspects stole from a home located in the 33000 block of Megan Court sometime around 1 p.m. today, according to a report from Sgt. Ken Chaffin of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.

“The reporting party ... came home and observed three male subjects fleeing the residence,” the sergeant wrote in his report.

Police were called and the homeowner provided a description of the juveniles, Sgt. Chaffin said.

“Minutes later, officers arrived in the area and detained three subjects matching the description … . All three subjects were positively identified as the subjects seen fleeing the victim's residence,” the sergeant reported.

“One of the juveniles was found to be in possession of stolen property items,” he continued.

All three suspects were released to the custody of their parents, the sergeant said.

The suspects' identities were withheld by authorities.
