Wildomar Fire Fully Contained

The wildland blaze, which was reported near Navajo Springs and Lost roads at 2:46 p.m., was 100 percent contained an hour later.

A fire that broke out in Wildomar Wednesday afternoon has been fully contained, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The wildland blaze, which was reported near Navajo Springs and Lost roads at 2:46 p.m., was 100 percent contained an hour later.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said the blaze burned no more than five acres.

There were no injuries and no structure damage was reported.

Firefighters will remain on scene for three to four hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
