Wildomar Resident Arrives Home To Find Burglar

The alleged thief eluded capture at the crime scene in The Farm, but was later nabbed in Lakeland Village, near the Wildomar city limit.

A resident of The Farm in Wildomar came home Thursday afternoon to a burglar, according to a sheriff’s sergeant.

The incident was reported around 12:08 p.m. in the 34000 block of The Farm Road, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Marc Cloutier.

“The homeowner reported he interrupted a burglary to his residence when he returned home from errands and surprised the burglar, whom he witnessed jump out a bedroom window,” Cloutier said.

The alleged thief escaped empty-handed, the sergeant added.

Deputies were called and during their investigation uncovered information leading to a suspect in south Lakeland Village, according to Cloutier. The man, later identified as Wildomar resident Kristian Kilman, 19, was found hiding in a home there, the sergeant explained.
