"The caller stated she returned home and found a white female adult rummaging through her belongings," reported Sgt. Marc Cloutier from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station. "The victim yelled at the suspect who fled the house. An alert neighbor who heard the commotion spoke to the victim, then began to chase after the suspect."

When deputies arrived they saw the neighbor still following the suspected burglar, later identified as Owens. She was arrested without incident, Cloutier said.
