Woman In Custody For Alleged Hit-And-Run On 15 Freeway In Lake Elsinore

A multi-vehicle hit-and-run crash on the northbound 15 Freeway, just south of Main Street in Lake Elsinore, slowed traffic Thursday morning.

The crash was reported by CHP shortly after 9:30 a.m.

According to CHP Officer England, three vehicles were involved.

A woman who allegedly caused the crash was placed into custody and has been transported to Inland Valley Medical Center, England said.

The woman's identity has not been released by authorities and the extent of her injuries is unclear.

Reports of additional injuries were not immediately available.
