Woman Nabbed In Freeway Meth Bust

The woman and the narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

A drug bust just south of Wildomar resulted in the seizure of 35 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated street value of $705,400, the U.S. Border Patrol is reporting.

The seizure came Feb. 17 near where the 15 and 215 freeways split, the news release stated.

Border Patrol agents stopped “a 28-year-old female Mexican national driver of a white 2006 Ford Fusion” at the split, according to the release. During the stop, a K-9 team alerted agents to the illicit drug hidden inside the vehicle’s rocker panels, the release stated.
