A sheriff’s deputy patrolling Lake Elsinore Sunday got a ping on a license plate reader and found a truck stolen out of Wildomar, officials said.
The deputy spoke with the two women in the Dodge Ram -- found in the driveway of a home in the 10 block of Plaza Avila about 1:45 p.m. -- and determined they both had outstanding warrants.
A search of the truck yielded a laptop computer and several other items previously reported as stolen, according to sheriff's officials.
Jaime Lee Justus, 23, of Wildomar and Kayleigh Boyd, 26, of Murrieta, were arrested at the scene for alleged possession of stolen property.
No current booking records were immediately available but Justus had been arrested March for alleged receipt of stolen property and driving without a legal license and was released.
