UPDATE: Young Woman's Disappearance Termed 'Suspicious'

6 p.m. UPDATE: Wednesday afternoon investigators from the Perris Police Department located Tina Marie Timm in the 12000 block of Perris Boulevard in the City of Moreno Valley, police are reporrting. She was safe and unharmed, and investigators say she had not been kidnapped.

ORIGINAL POST: The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a young woman who may have been kidnapped.

Tina Marie Timm, 20, went missing late Tuesday morning and was last seen at the Perris Walmart located at 2560 N Perris Blvd.

According to the the sheriff's department, Timm's disappearance is suspicious.

The young woman is described as 5’2” tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray-colored sleeveless shirt, blue denim pants and black-rimmed prescription glasses.

Deputies spoke to Timm’s boyfriend, who told them he had dropped her off at the Walmart. A short time later he received text messages from her stating she had been taken by three Hispanic males driving an older white van with curtains in the rear window, according to a police news release.

Video surveillance at Walmart shows Timm inside and outside of the store until approximately 10:58 a.m. Tuesday, when she is seen walking alone northbound out of camera range, police reported.

Anyone who has recently seen Timm or knows her current whereabouts is asked to call the Perris Sheriff's Station, and ask for Investigator John Powers at (951) 210-1000 or at PerrisStation@RiversideSheriff.org
