5th Birthday Party In Wildomar! Everyone’s Invited

Help celebrate the city's 5th birthday on July 1.

The City of Wildomar turns 5 years old on July 1, and officials are hoping residents and local business owners will turn out to help celebrate.

A community party of sorts takes place July 1, 6 p.m., at the old school bell site located at Wildomar Elementary School, 21575 Palomar Street.

As has been the city’s custom since incorporating back in 2008, the historic bell will be rung in celebration, and local officials will be on hand if residents are interested in chatting about all things Wildomar.

City Councilman Bob Cashman will be among the attendees. As a long-time Wildomar resident, he is always happy to share history lessons about the area. Although Wildomar only became a city in recent years, the town has historical significance dating back more than a century. Councilman Cashman certainly doesn't go back that far, but he's studied Wildomar's past and has even written a book about it.

The no-cost, no-frills July 1 birthday party is an opportunity for the community to meet its city leaders and fellow residents, and learn a little bit about Wildomar.
