Assembly Challenger Makes Final Fundraising Push

The deadline for filing campaign finance disclosures is Dec. 31.

A man running to represent Lake Elsinore and Wildomar's newly formed State Assembly district was making a final push for funds this week.

Phil Paule, who is running to represent District 67, which includes Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and neighboring communities, asked the public for any donations it can spare before the financial disclosure filing deadline on Dec. 31.

"We need to be able to show our strength in support from people like you in order to meet our goal to be the top-funded candidate in the race," said Sara Duda, a spokesperson for Paule in an emailed announcement. "The … deadline is quickly approaching."

Paule's campaign aims to re-establish firm conservative principles in Southwest Riverside County, Duda said. "Phil's campaign for Assembly is just beginning," Duda said, and they need all the funds they can get.
