CANCELLED: Lake Elsinore Public Meeting: Standards for Residential Docks

THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

The City is in the process of establishing “Standards for Residential (Boat) Docks” to inform shoreline property owners of the minimum requirements needed to obtain a permit for placing a residential dock on Lake Elsinore.  The City recognizes the utility and convenience of these residential docks for their owners; however, the process requires balancing the needs of shoreline property owners with those of the general public for the safe enjoyment of Lake Elsinore by all recreational users.  One of the goals for adopting such standards is to streamline the permitting process of an “Application for a Residential Dock Permit” provided the application substantially conforms to the final adopted standards. The City Council formed a Subcommittee to draft the Standards for Residential Docks.  You are invited to the second Subcommittee meeting to comment on the proposed dock standards.  The purpose of the meeting is to inform property owners and residents of the proposal, then receive public comment. The Public Information and Comment Meeting for the establishment of Standards for Residential Docks will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 6:00 pm, at the Lake Elsinore Cultural Center located at 183 N. Main Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Draft standards and boat valuation schedule: http://www.lake-elsinore.org/index.aspx?page=26&recordid=536&returnURL=%...
