According to a news release from the Southwest Conservative Republicans, all four candidates seeking the 67th Assembly District seat are scheduled to participate in the forum. The candidates -- all Republicans -- are Lake Elsinore City Councilman Bob Magee, Lake Elsinore City Councilwoman Melissa Melendez, Murrieta Valley Unified School District board member Ken Dickson, and Phil Paule, a district director for U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa.

The candidate forum will take place during the Southwest Conservatives Republicans' regularly scheduled monthly meeting, said Ted Wegener, vice president of communications for the group.

"Come meet your next assemblyperson and get involved," Wegener said.

Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students, and includes dinner. Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP because of the expected attendance and limited seating, Wegener said.
