Lake Elsinore City Official Announces Retirement

Robin Chipman, building and safety manager for the city, gave notice today that he plans to retire April 30.

The City of Lake Elsinore is losing another of its staff members it was announced today.

Robin Chipman, building and safety manager for the city, gave notice today that he plans to retire April 30.

Lake Elsinore Interim City Manager Pat Kilroy said Chipman’s written notice was dated March 12, but was served to the city today.

Chipman has been employed with the city for over 24 years, Kilroy said. He currently manages both the city’s building and safety as well as code enforcement divisions.

“We appreciate his service and all he’s done for the city,” Kilroy said.

Chipman’s age was not immediately available.
