Lake Elsinore Photo Contest Begins Today: Help The City Celebrate Its 125th Anniversary!

The following is a news release from the City of Lake Elsinore:

Capture photos around Lake Elsinore dipicting family life, celebrations, events, historical landmarks or buildings and you could be a winner! Photos in digital or film, black & white or color, sizes 3 x 5 to 8 x 10, are wanted from photographers ages 8 years to adult, amateur or professional. Our theme is in celebration of our Lake Elsinore community past & present "125 Years in the Making".

Photos must be original work but there is no date limit. Historic photos from 1900s to 1970s will not be juried but showcased as a history of our community at large.

Submit photos to the Lake Community Center between Monday, Jan 28 and Thursday, Feb 28. No fees for amateurs; professionals are $5 for each entry. Registration forms are also available at the intake site. All photos will be included in a public showcase schedule for Saturday, March 23 at the Lake Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact the center direct at 951-245-0442.
