Lake Elsinore Seeks To Fill Vacant Planning Commission Seat

Interested applicants must be Lake Elsinore residents or own a business within the city limits, according to a notice posted by City Clerk Virginia Bloom.

All completed applications must be filed with the City Clerk’s Office no later than noon on Oct. 13, Bloom said in her notice. No faxed or emailed applications will be accepted.

Lake Elsinore City Council will decide the most qualified applicant. when it had to fill a vacant seat left by then-Mayor Amy Bhutta who resigned in July. Ex-City Treasurer Peter Weber was appointed to the council post and is expected to be sworn into office tomorrow during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
