Natasha Johnson Campaign Hosts Voter Registration Drive

The event is being held this Saturday and Sunday in Lake Elsinore in front of the Albertsons store located at 30901 Riverside Drive.

Eligible voters who have not yet registered or who have recently moved still have an opportunity to make their voices heard on Election Day.

A Voter Registration Drive is being held this Saturday and Sunday in Lake Elsinore in front of the Albertsons store located at 30901 Riverside Drive.  

Volunteers for the Committee to Elect Natasha Johnson for Lake Elsinore City Council 2012 are hosting the event, which runs from 8 - 11 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 1, and from 3 - 6 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 2.

“The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of voting and to get people who either don't know where to go or how to register to do so in a simple and easy way,” said Megan Locke, campaign manager for Johnson.

The deadline to register to vote is 15 days prior to the Nov. 6 Election Day.

For those unable to attend this weekend’s event, voter registration forms can be obtained at the Riverside County Registrar of Voters or from public facilities, such as libraries, the DMV, and post offices.

Lake Elsinore City Clerk Virginia Bloom and Wildomar City Clerk Debbie Lee can also provide the forms.
