"Balance"....Hmmm.... as usual with me, most any word at all will harken up a memory from the depths. Bill Balance (Spelled: Ballance) was a radio guy out here way back...and he is also the fella whut was playing hide the "Little Bill" with Dr. Laura----fact is, he cut loose with some naiky photos of her a few years back that of course were all the rage on The Net...I saw the photos, and I sorta figgered that had "Bolt On's" been all the rage back in that time, she woulda done well to go "after market" with a pair....jes' sayin'.
Anways...I'm not gonna bother watching election coverage, since my guy I wrote in ain't got a Gook's Chance In Hell of winnin', what with him taking a dirt nap an' all, with no trace of him ever found...But then again, MAYBE he will show up one day, with Elvis, and Andy Kaufman on each side---both of whom are reputed to "still be" somewhere's---and I will welcome the 3 of them with open arms, so long as they don't bring along that Short Eyed "you know what", Michael Jackson, who is also reputed to "still be" somewhere's. I know how it is with that hiding out dealio, and making yerself scarce, since I went full blowed Hermit a few years back----'course nobody is wondering if I "still be", and may do a return engagement in due time. But back on point, and my point is, no Balance, I don't wanna take in the Return Show with you....sorry.

12:38 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012 "I was a UPS driver BTW and I didnt come out of the hub, I walked in a as a driver. Your age, mid 40s." I know that Conservatives live in the past, but from my understanding that is not the way it is now. UPS is no longer owned exclusively by its management and it runs a lot differently now.

Hi Carl Petersen III,
Vince also commented on POLL: Who Won Round 3 Of The Presidential Debate?. "Carl Boy says he says: 'I will outsmart you on anything you say to me because well, I am older and smarter than you. ' So, age equates to intelligence eh Carl Boy? Well....guaranteed I have hemorrhoids older'n you" I think that your comments are directed to American as that quote is not mine.
Carl Petersen III November 3, 2012 at 09:21 pm
You just can not admit when you are wrong, can you?
Balance November 3, 2012 at 09:34 pm
Are you shore, Vince?
Vince November 3, 2012 at 11:08 pm
Balance....Ya gotta ask yourself: "Has Uncle Vinny ever led me astray?"....but whatever you do, don't screw it up and ask yourself: "Would Uncle Vinny lead me astray?" The answer to that is just to scary to contemplate...
Also, I won't go all "spell check" on ya...and I am SHORE of that.
Vince November 3, 2012 at 11:28 pm
See, Balance, I am extremely self a-SHORED---thanks to the tater. And maybe you wudn't in attendance the day I gave the dissertation on chick's digging me? See...It's like this, chick's dig me--'course it wasn't always thataway. YET, I can fairly blame that on the tater. Up until a lady told me that, and I quote: "The tater goes to THE FRONT fer cryin' out loud!", chicks always avoided me sorta like the plague, an' after I got that all straightened out though, and the tater sitchyated proper-like, then by golly, I was a right popular fella with the ladies---in fact, came a time I didn't need the tater crutch (crutch?) no more, and now I go Totally Tater Free (TTF)---tain't nuthin' builds a fella's confidence like chicks diggin' him, tater or not...and I would suggest you ask Carl Boy, but I imagine chicks prolly have always avoided him like the plague, and that even without the help of a misplaced tater...Serial Boring wins out every time over a tater, no matter where it may accidentally end up.
Balance November 4, 2012 at 12:03 am
Shouldn't it be "feller's", not "fella's"?
Vince November 4, 2012 at 12:12 am
Not shore, BUT, you say POTATO, and Dan Quail spells: POTA-TOE....And so Balance, be careful not to fall into the Tater Trap, since there are good tater's, and there are bad tater's as I illustrated for you (See: Above)..sorta like the ol' Good Cop, Bad Cop Routine, which hails all the way back to caveman days...I think it was Tyrannosaurus Rex whutt fined tuned the whole thing with their Good & Bad Tyrannosaurus Rex Routine...that's the one whut got Homo-Stupido (before Homo-Habilis, or Homo-Erectus even) to avert their eyes to one or ta other type of Tyranno, and then they would gobble 'em up ...and see, The Repukes, and DummoCraps play the same game with their Good Politician, Bad Politician Scam----they attempt to convince folks that the OTHER Party is the bad guy, even though they are all in the very same Party: The Party of Politics, which is all about suckering the public into "choosing sides", and then being at each other's throats as the Party of Politics picks their bones clean...And funny thing about my Tater Tale is that every time I tell it, it sends wimmin's scrambling out for French Fries for some dang reason?

I'll be flipping back and forth between CNN and Fox, as well as MSNBC. It should be entertaining watching the pundits put their spin on the stats as the election results unfold throughout the day. Can you believe that there are only two days left? (Where has the last year-and-a-half gone!?!)

It would be hard to prove a negative. Are you insinuating that the money for additional policeRead More protection was wasted? Seems like simple logic to me that increased police presence over time would result in less crime, which would in-turn lead to more tourism, which would bring in more money for the City. Laguna Niguel is ranked every year as one of the safest cities in the U.S. Since there's so little crime there, why do they waste their money on any police at all???
LAKE ELSINORE RESIDENT June 17, 2013 at 12:45 pm
I want to see more cops on the street and I want to know if there was less crime.. I think weRead More need more police and I believe the PSAC is a waste of money, money which could go towards more police (no matter how small).
American Girl June 17, 2013 at 04:56 pm
EVMWD rates are a crime! Take those darn pensions away and lower our rates. Over paid slackers!
LAKE ELSINORE RESIDENT June 17, 2013 at 06:26 pm

Martha L. Bridges June 17, 2013 at 08:22 pm
LER, thanks for your concern. I am very aware of the danger and have already taken my concerns toRead More the police and the city. If they are unwilling to take corrective or preventative measures, I will move up the ladder to those who understand their obligation to protect citizens from this kind of threat.
Kevin Jon Sax June 17, 2013 at 11:08 pm
Martha, there is no threat. And L.E.R. is someone you would actually carry conversation with?Read More Don't you have standards? I was just about to delete this whole thread because it ran its course, but then you have informed that you perceive a threat. As far as walking by your house, I live in the area and have friends and business there. And in the unlikely chance that someone is attacking you or vandalizing your property, I would assist in defending your property or your person. Make no mistake, you're a nuisance, destructive, and everything I don't want to be, but I will never bring or allow in my presence anything detrimental to your direct safety. It's not how I roll. And by gawd, get a hold of yourself; I'd be miserable if I had a soul like yours. PS: ANYTIME you want to extend an olive branch, I won't bite, nor will I hold my breath either.
Kevin Jon Sax June 15, 2013 at 09:55 pm
Ken Mayes, what sin? Have I harmed anyone? Do tell. Harming people is not in my value system.
Martha L. Bridges June 16, 2013 at 08:24 am
LER, you have offered me good advice, and I am going to take it to heart and close out myRead More contribution to this article with this one last comment. In short, enough has been said on all sides and it is time to return to my very real work of trying to help fix what is wrong in Wildomar. There is plenty of real work to be done.
Gil Rasmussen June 16, 2013 at 10:02 am
The original intention of Wildomar Magazine, when I initiated publication at the same time thatRead More Wildomar became a city, was to provoke people to think for themselves. A side benefit of publishing a provocative commentary occurs when public officials, such as Planning Commissioner Bobby Swann and Citizens Park Oversight Committee Chairman John Lloyd, are provoked to express their true feelings, as well as their mental and ethical shortcomings. Calling citizens of Wildomar by the derogatory name, "Stoops," is direct evidence of their mental and ethical shortcomings, as well as beneath the dignity of an appointed position with the City of Wildomar. We have the WILDOMAR.CA.LOCALS Facebook page to thank for the beneficial "self-disclosures" by Swann and Lloyd.
Ken Mayes June 15, 2013 at 06:55 am
The city is so excited they forgot to put this event on the cities website.
Rose Vicente June 15, 2013 at 09:16 am
Why not a parade in the streets?
Martha L. Bridges June 15, 2013 at 07:20 pm
Rose, we've had five years of having celebrations large and small with all the trappings ofRead More city-hood that Bridgette Moore could conjure up - right down to spending money the city didn't have to purchase monogrammed M&M. I suggest it's time to ring the bell and then get back to the real work of running the city. That would include doing the essential foundational work that has been skipped over in favor of window dressing and nonsense for the first five years.

To be clear, Supervisor Jeffries is not yet in support of charging for parking at the hospital, butRead More supported Supervisor Stone's request to have it evaluated, and is willing to consider it based on the results. In his quotes that day he mentioned that when Kaiser started charging for their new structure, they almost immediately changed their mind because the response was so negative. Supervisor Jeffries' main interest in supporting a study of all the county's parking facilities was to determine whether we could save money on the parking structures we already charge for by going to an automated system, rather than staffing it full time with multiple county employees. We have been told that we are actually losing money on the fees we collect for parking, and if that is true, we want to either switch to a cheaper collection system or eliminate the fees entirely.
Chris Twining June 13, 2013 at 12:55 am
Let's hope not. Charging for parking, especially at a hospital, is disgusting to say the least. IRead More got an idea. Let's see if just one elected official can so SOMETHING!!! other than sitting around trying to figure out more and more ways to separate us from our money. Do you have a clue as to what's going on around you? Do you get out of bed in the morning? turn on the TV? go outside? You are 10 years too late. That kind of thing from elected politicians is over. Stop trying to raise money. There are so many things out there you could be doing to make a good name for yourself, and 99% of those things involve cutting spending. Get to the bottom of some things. Imagine how people would react to that. They would swarm at your feet and hold you in high regard. And if you ever find yourself in the hospital, I will gladly come visit you as long as I dont have to pay to park.
