Veterans Day Deals Offered To Military Personnel

Local organizations and retailers are honoring active-duty and retired military with Veterans Day deals today through the weekend. From no-charge breakfasts to comp car washes to a free Tim McGraw concert, the community is saying Thank You!

has joined forces with each branch of the military to offer children of reserve, guard, and active-duty families free membership to their local Clubs.

*** at 32120 Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar is offering a free car wash to all military service personnel on Veterans Day.

***Veterans and active-duty personnel eat free at Applebees on Veterans Day.

***Denny's is giving away its Grand Slam breakfast to veterans who dine in on Nov. 11.

***Chili's is offering a choice of one of six meals for dine-in active-duty military members and veterans on Nov. 11.

***Walgreens is offering a 15 to 20 percent discount to all veterans and active-duty military personnel on Veterans Day.

***And while this freebie requires a bit of a drive, we have to tip our hats to Tim McGraw. He’s holding a free 6 p.m. concert Nov. 13 at the mainside football stadium at Camp Pendleton.

The Tour for the Troops concert, courtesy of the Air Force Reserve, will celebrate and honor servicemen and women. The event will be preceded by a Family Fun Day, beginning at 12 p.m., where families can enjoy local bands, concessions, merchandise and a children's play area. Families are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the concert.
