Monday’s hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will investigate GSA spending. The probe began earlier this month when the agency's inspector general reported an $823,000 spending spree at a Las Vegas event.
Issa is the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chair.
The Associated Press reported Friday that a General Services Administration executive will assert his right to remain silent at the hearing. The Associated Press also reported that the official, Jeffrey Neely, could face a possible criminal investigation into spending allegations.
