Wildomar Public Budget Workshop Rescheduled After Technical Snafu

A delay in public notification has caused the to reschedule its public budget workshop.

The workshop was to be held May 17 at 6:30 p.m., but email notifications to the public were sent out by the city shortly after the start of the event. There was no mention of the workshop on the city’s online calendar.

“It was just staff (last night), so we have scheduled another workshop on the 24th for public input,” said Assistant City Manager Gary Nordquist. “We used the time last night as a working session. It lasted until about 7:30.”

The public workshop will now be held May 24 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall located at 23873 Clinton Keith Road.

The workshop is open to the public and Wildomar residents are encouraged to participate and bring forth ideas on building next year’s city budget.
