Wildomar Residents Begin Learning How Their Tax Dollars Will Be Spent To Reopen City Parks

Tonight, the five-member Wildomar Parks Citizen's Oversight Advisory Committee will begin rolling up its sleeves.

Wildomar voters said they are willing to pay a special tax to open all three of their city parks, and now the work begins.

Tonight, the five-member Wildomar Parks Citizen’s Oversight Advisory Committee will begin rolling up its sleeves and start the process of advising when and how to open Regency Heritage and Windsong parks. Marna O’Brien Park has remained open as a result of volunteer efforts.

The committee is tasked with advising city council on the expenditure of tax revenues collected under Measure Z.

Tonight’s meeting at Wildomar City Hall begins at 6:30 p.m. and residents and local business owners are encouraged to attend. The meeting marks the first for the committee, which is expected to meet at least on a quarterly basis.
