216 Unionized Prosecutors Attempt to Fleece Tax Payers

When the voting was over, Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach was almost unanimously rejected by prosecutors who work under him. The President of the Riverside Deputy District Attorneys' Association (RCDDAA), John Aki, announced Monday the results of the association's vote after a series of closed debates between Zellerbach and Senior Deputy District Attorney Michael Hestrin, who is running for District Attorney in 2014.” 216 (RCDDA) Union members want to dictate to the public who runs our District Attorney’s Office? Why? The short answer is corruption within the Deputy District Attorneys-Prosecutors Union rank and file in my opinion. Incumbent succession ended when Longtime District Attorney Grover Trask groomed and handed the reins to incumbent Rod Pacheco who in an upset lost to Paul Zellerbach. This all but ended the good ole boy’s network forcing the Deputy District attorneys to perform their jobs. Before Paul, we had rampant white collar crime allegations ignored by the DA’s office such as 35 million dollars of RDA monies spent to build a 8 million dollar ball park in Lake Elsinore, 10 million spent to by the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District on the now defunct Lake Elsinore Advance Pumping-Storage (LEAPS) projects, Child Support non custodial parent in arrears on support payments leaving the taxpayers to foot the bill, Jails & Prisons filled with potheads, prostitutes, mentally ill many incarcerated on inflated – fabricated charges instead of violent felons and gang members. This is about bringing the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office out of the dark ages and accountable to the taxpayers. Not bargaining leverage of a Prosecutors Union. Terminate the troublemakers and hold the Prosecutors accountable just like the rest of us are at our places of employment. Politics by taxpayer paid employee's who on our dime politic to undermine our duly elected District Attorney must cease.
