3 LEUSD Teachers Honored

Elizabeth DelMar of Rice Canyon Elementary, Sara Nino of Earl Warren Elementary and LeighAnn Paule of Tuscany Hills Elementary were honored Sept. 18 by the Lake Elsinore Rotary Club.

The Lake Elsinore Rotary Club began its traditional Teacher of the Month Program on Wednesday, September 18. At the program, three Lake Elsinore Unified School District teachers were recognized for their dedication and work at their schools.

September’s honorees are Elizabeth DelMar of Rice Canyon Elementary, Sara Nino of Earl Warren Elementary and LeighAnn Paule of Tuscany Hills Elementary.

Elizabeth DelMar of Rice Canyon Elementary can only be described as dedicated, says Principal Robert Recatto. DelMar is the second grade lead for the school and coordinates many extracurricular activities at the school including the Jump Rope for Heart event and the Drill Team. DelMar’s drill team has performed and placed first in the past three Unity in the Community parades. DelMar noted that nurturing her students’ self-esteem is essential to their educational success.
