Community Gets Voice In Hiring New LEUSD Superintendent
"The Board has placed a high priority on public involvement with this recruitment," read a statement from the LEUSD today.
The Lake Elsinore Unified School District board is giving the community a say in the recruitment of its next superintendent.
An online public survey and two public forums designed to gather input about the desired characteristics to be used in recruiting and selecting a new superintendent are being put to the public.
“The Board has placed a high priority on public involvement with this recruitment,” read a statement from the LEUSD today.

The online survey and public forums are being conducted by Leadership Associates (Mission Viejo/La Quinta), an executive recruitment firm hired by the Governing Board of the Lake Elsinore Unified School District in February.

Public Online Survey
Leadership Associates has posted a five-minute survey online for LEUSD stakeholders, including parents/guardians, school volunteers, employees, management, and community/business members. The survey may be accessed from LEUSD’s home page, at www.leusd.k12.ca.us.

Public Input Forums
Two interactive public forums are being hosted by Leadership Associates in two locations on Wednesday, April 5 (see below). Light refreshments will be served. Note: It is not necessary to attend both forums.
