Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Kenneth M. Young and local school districts will honor students selected by the school districts for outstanding academic achievement on Wednesday, April 11, at the Seventh Annual Superintendents’ Academic Awards Dinner.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Convention Center, 3443 Orange Street, Riverside.
Also during the ceremony, Young will name the members of the All-County Academic Team, selected by a county panel from the larger group as the most outstanding academic achievers.

Each high school in the county was asked to select between one and three students, based on their enrollments, students’ GPA, college entrance exams, class rank, and extracurricular activities. There will be more than 450 people in attendance.
The students will be accompanied by their principals and superintendents. The event is scheduled to last approximately until 8 p.m.
