Wildflower Field Trip

California Native Plant Society tour of the spring wildflowers at Harford Springs Reserve. Harford Springs Reserve is a 325-acre wildland park located in the Gavilan Hills between Riverside, Perris, Lake Elsinore and Corona, near Lake Mathews.  The Park includes a large area of cismontane juniper woodland, a unique clay soil grassland flora, along with other plant communities. Meet at headquarters. 9:15 am on Sunday, April 15, 2012 Bring lunch, plenty of water, and a spirit of exploration!   Directions: From Gavilan Road intersection with Cajalco Road: Head south on Gavilan Road.  After about 2 miles, there will be a mobile home on the left and parking. Turn in here; we will carpool from here to visit some of the sensitive areas on the southern edge of the park.
