Free Meals Offered At Local Schools Through July 12

Two Lake Elsinore school sites are offering the free meals.

In an effort to ensure local kids receive proper nutrition while school is out, the Lake Elsinore Unified School District is offering a free meals program funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Now through July 12, children ages 1 through 18 who live within the LEUSD boundaries are eligible to participate in the free breakfast and lunch program.

LEUSD’s Food Services Department is offering this annual nutrition outreach at two school sites this year:

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLINE ACADEMY

1405 Education Way, Lake Elsinore

•             Breakfast and lunch served Monday through Thursday

•             Breakfast served from 9:25 a.m.—9:40 a.m.

•             Lunch service: 12:35 p.m.—12:50 p.m.

•             No food service July 4 and 5, Holiday schedule

 

RAILROAD CANYON ELEMENTARY

1300 Mill Street, Lake Elsinore

•             Lunch only, Monday through Thursday

•             Lunch service: 12:35 p.m.—12:50 p.m.

•             No food service July 4, Holiday

Participants must check in at the school office, and food must be eaten on site. Parents may buy an extra lunch for $3.
