According to a district news release, Dr. D’Amico served as an assistant principal at Temescal Canyon High School this past school year after serving as principal at the LEUSD’s Earl Warren Elementary for three years. She fills the post following the departure of Principal Errol Garnett, who left the campus at the end of the 2011-12 school year for a position as director of personnel for the Alvord Unified School District.

Powers comes to the LEUSD from the Corona-Norco Unified School District, where he served as assistant principal at Letha Raney Intermediate School for one year, the district news release stated. He is replacing Rita Post, who is now principal at Elsinore Elementary School.
