Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries (R-Lake Elsinore) will join Sycamore Academy of Science and Cultural Arts students in a school assembly and he will be acknowledged for his part in helping the academy obtain a $5,000 grant from the Barona Band of Indians.

Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries (R-Lake Elsinore) is expected to go back to school Friday morning at Sycamore Academy of Science and Cultural Arts in Wildomar.

Jeffries will join students in a school assembly and he will be acknowledged for his part in helping the academy obtain a $5,000 grant from the Barona Band of Indians, said Barbara Hale of Sycamore Academy.

The money, which was awarded this summer, was used to purchase a mobile iPod lab for upper grade students, Hale said.
